Ghandruk Short Trek is one of the easiest treks in the Annapurna region, Nepal. The short trek to Ghandruk loop will be only for five days ( from Kathmandu to Kathmandu), so trekkers can imagine by themselves that it must be an easy trek in Annapurna region.
This mini trek to Ghandruk will start from Phedi. It is at the height of 1130m. The whole region from Phedi is known as Dhampus. In Dhampus trekkers will see the culture of many castes such as Bramhin, Chhetries and a few Gurung also. The trekkers will be amazed to see the forest which looks like a manicured peak. Some part of the trek will be little steeply.
At the end of 1st day, trekkers will reach to Tolko and rest these, 2nd day trek is only for 4-5 hours which is as 1st day. Trekkers continues their trek to Landruk and then go down using the staircase to the Modi Khola. At the end of trekking hours, trekkers will climb few more climb to reach Ghandruk, which is 1970m high. On the last day trekkers will follow the clearly defined route south from Ghandruk to Birethanti and then walk Naya Pul and hire transport to get back to Pokhara.
