Upper Dolpo Trek

Dolpo is the most remote and least developed district in Nepal Himalaya. This region is situated between the Tibetan plateau and the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range is the highest inhabited land of Dolpo, conjures up visions of mysterious monasteries, snow leopards and blue sheep, it is situated in the western part of the country Nepal.

Doplo is the home of herbal land, unspoiled trans-Himalayan culture, Buddhist monuments and unique human civilization in high Himalaya. This Upper Dolpo trek offers visits to ancient and isolated villages that are immortal to time. We start this upper dolpo trekking from Jhupal village with wonderful adventure, encountering interesting places, traditional people and villages, valleys and serene forest of pines, oaks and rhododendron. During this trek you can get an opportunity to explore spectacular lakes, authentic Buddhist monasteries and plentiful wildlife including Blue sheep, mountain goat, jackal, wolf and snow leopard as well.

How to Get Nepal

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. The following are some of the airlines that fly to Nepal, but from Europe or North America all involve at least one change: Nepal Airlines, Thai Airways, Gulf Air, Qatar Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air India, Austrian Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Lufthansa, Air Arabia, Air China, Air Arabia, Druk Air, GMG Airlines, Korean Air, Pakistan International Airlines, and Singapore Airlines fly into Kathmandu. Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal. You have any pre existing medical condition or disability you might increase the risk of your requiring medical attention you need to inform to Dream Heaven Adventure. You should be aware of the risk of altitude sickness and frostbite, and allow yourself time to adjust to changes in altitude and temperature. This may hamper your ability to travel.
