Tilicho Lake Trek

Tilicho Lake situated at the highest altitude of 4920 m is one of the attractive and beautiful lakes. Trekking to Tilicho Lake is also an opportunity to pass through Manang valley, Annapurna circuit trail and Thorong la pass.

The important aspect regarding the trek to Tilicho Lake is that lake lies on the lap of mountain and the trekkers can enjoy to the fullest. The beautiful lake has religious importance as well. According to Hindu mythology it is the lake where crow recited the Ramayana to the Garuda and thus this lake is regarded as one of the holy spots.

The trek to Tilicho Base Camp Thorong La stars from Besisahar, by following Marshyangdi river gorge. On the way trekkers enjoy the beautiful scenarios of scow capped mountains.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, Tribhuwan International Airport and transferred to the hotel, overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu Valley including Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Swoyambunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Besi Shahar (820m), about 5-6 hours by bus or private jeep, overnight at Guesthouses/lodges.

Day 04: Besi Shahar Trek to Bahun Danda (1310m) Walking distance about 6-7 hours, overnight at Guesthouses/lodges.

Day 05: Bahun Danda Trek to Chamje (1430m) Walking distance about 5-6 hours, overnight at Guesthouses/lodges.

Day 06: Chamje Trek to Dharapani (1960m) Walking distance about 5-6 hours, overnight at Guesthouses/lodges.

Day 17: Jomsom fly back to Pokhara, about 25 minutes flight, overnight at Pokhara hotel

Day 19: Transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport catch your flight back to your home.

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness
