The Siklis Trek

The Siklis is the biggest Gurung settlement of Nepal. The beautiful village is located in Annapurna Himalayan range. The Sikles trek is one of the most charming trekking, that unfold the real natural exquisiteness of Himalaya.

Passing through different geological territories, local villages, beautiful rhododendron forests, and high elevated knolls resting underneath the taking off tops of Annapurna area is really remarkable experience.

One can observe some marvelous outlook of the most beautiful mountains including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and many others.

Trip Grade: Easy

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel.

Day 02: After breakfast, we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara, which takes 30 minutes by flight and 6-7 hours by bus. Today you will be free in Pokhara you can visit yourself. Pokhara is beautiful lake city which offers panoramic views of Mt. Machapuchre, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Begnas Tal which takes about 30 minutes, and then the trail go through the river and rice fields, to reach Kalikasthan (1370m), walking distance about 5 hours. Overnight at Tea house

Day 05: Trekking from Kalikasthan to Lamakhet (1680m), a charming village along the Modi river side, it takes about 6 hours, overnight at Tea House.

Day 06: Trekking from Lamakhet to Siklis (1980m), the trail goes passing through Parju Village, about 6 hours walking. It is one of the most beautiful and aged Gurung community. The Siklis offers exceptional views of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu range. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 07: Trekking from Siklis to Forest Camp (2200m), the trail goes through rhododendron and oak forest by following ascent path and flat land, walking distance about 6 hours. The camp is surrounding by jungle (forest). Overnight at Home stay.

Day 08: Trekking from Forest Camp to Ghale Gaon located at 2000 meters from sea level. Today the trail goes through rhododendron forest, which takes about 6-7 hours. The Ghale Gaon is beautiful village of Magar and Gurung Community. Overnight at Home Stay

Day 09: Trekking from Ghale Gaon to via Hemja (1070m), Pokhara city, walking distance about 3 hours. After freshness at hotel, do the sightseeing tour of beautiful lake city Pokhara, overnight at Pokhara hotel.

Day 10: After breakfast, drive or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. It takes about 6-7 hours by bus or 35 minutes by flight. Overnight Kathmandu hotel

Day 11: Final Departure, Dream Heaven Adventure Team say good bye and take you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.
