Tamang Heritage Trek

Tamang Heritage Trek is newly discovered off the beaten trekking trail in located in Langtang region. People of the Tamang Heritage region are mostly Tibetans who came from Kerung in Tibet across the border and settled in Nepal.

Tamang villages are generally found on higher elevations with the peasants engaging in shifting cultivation and extraction of forest products. This Tamang Heritage Trek is ancient lifestyle combining, with picturesque scenery and healing baths in natural hot springs. The trail takes you to verdant midlands of Nepal to explore the culture of local people and natural beauty of the Himalayan range.

Day 01: We will meet you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel.

Day 02: After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Syaprubesi (1460m)  6-7 hours drive, overnight at guesthouse/lodge

Day 04: Trekking to Gatlang (2238m) walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at guesthouse/homestay

Day 05: Trekking to Tatopani (2607m) walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at guesthouse/homestay

Day 06: Trekking to Thuman (2338m) walking distance about 5 hours, overnight at guesthouse/homestay

Day 07: Trekking to Timure (1762m)walking distance about 5 hours, overnight at guesthouse/homestay

How to Get Nepal

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. The following are some of the airlines that fly to Nepal; Nepal Airlines, Thai Airways, Gulf Air, Qatar Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air India, Austrian Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Lufthansa, Air Arabia, Air China, Oman Air, Druk Air, GMG Airlines, Korean Air, Pakistan International Airlines, and Singapore Airlines fly into Kathmandu. Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.
