Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek

Rolwaling Tahsi Lapcha Pass trek is non-tourist and unspoiled trekking trail in eastern part of the Nepal closed to Everest region. Trekking in Rolwaling Tahsi Lapcha Pass is one of Nepal’s finest high mountain valleys. West of the Khumbu, directly on the Tibetan frontier there is a wild, lonely high valley, the “Rolwaling”, which is called simply “the grave” by the indigenous Sherpa’s on account of its location buried down between steep ice-giants.

The trekking trail leads through one of the remote and beautiful parts of Nepal part picturesque Sherpa and Tamang village with their typical terraced fields, through dense, gloomy primeval forest over Board Bridge with wonderful views.

The trip descends Tamakoshi River and turns into the Rolwaling valley, one of the most remote, mysterious, and fascinating places in the Rolwaling trekking. The land is full of the tales of the yeti, the mysterious snow man in the world and it is the place where some mountaineers arranged expedition to hunt yetis in the past. View of Gaurisankhar (7145m), Melungtse (7181m), other mountains, a good landscape; the villages of Beding (3690m) and monastery, Tso-Rolpa Lake are the main attractions of Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass trek.

After assault, the trail drops the Thame, from where the route along Bhote Koshi River leads to Namche Bazaar and onto Lukla for flight to Kathmandu but if you have time you can do Everest Base Camp Trekking as well.

Day 11: Trekking to Tashi Lapcha phedi (5500m); Walking distance about 5 hours, overnight at Tented Camp, All meals ( Tea/Coffee, Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner).

Day 12: Trekking to Ngole (5110m) via Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m); Walking distance 4-5 hours, overnight at Tented Camp, All meals ( Tea/Coffee, Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner).

Day 13: Trekking to Thame (3820m); Walking distance 5-6 hours, overnight at Tented Camp, All meals ( Tea/Coffee, Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner).

Day 14: Trekking to Namche Bazaar (3440); Walking distance about 4 hours, overnight at Tented Camp, All meals ( Tea/Coffee, Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner).

Day 15: Trekking to Lukla (2810m); Walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at Tented Camp, All meals ( Tea/Coffee, Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner).

Day 16: Fly back to in the morning Kathmandu which takes about 35 minutes and transferred to respective hotel

Day 17: Leisure Day at Kathmandu, today you will be free in Kathmandu city; you can spend by excitement shopping and relaxing.

Day 18: Transfer to Tribhuwan international airport for your final departure, airport shuttle will be provided.

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal.
