Lower Manaslu Trek

The Lower Manaslu Trekking trail exploration tour recently explored various tourism destinations and attraction into lower Manaslu region of Gorkha District, central Nepal. Manaslu (8156m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world and lies in the northern Himalayan range of Gorkha and Lamjung.

Manaslu was first climbed by Japanese mountaineer Tashio Imanishi and Gyalzer Norbu on May 09, 1956. Though the manaslu region offers a variety trekking routes, the lower Manaslu trekking trail from Manakamana Temple to Ghyampeshal is expected to popular among the trekkers in the years to come.

The nine days Manaslu Trek starts from Manakamana Temple, a major religious tourist destination and concluded at Gorkha Bazaar, the district headquarter of Gorkha District. The exploration tour has been tremendous success which has recorded both tangible and intangible tourism products of the region for preparation of route mapping and video documentary.

Gorkha, the ancient capital of Nepal, is the places of historical and archeological importance in the district. Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, Tribhuwan International Airport
We will meet you at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu Valley
After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world, overnight at hotel

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Manakamana (1302m) By bus 3-4 hrs and ride cable car

Day 04: Trekking to Pipalchap/Baskot (1170m) Walking distance 4-5 hours, overnight tea houses

Day 05: Trekking to Khanchok (930m) Walking distance 6-7 hours, overnight tea houses

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
