Kwangde Ri Peak Climbing

Kwangde Ri is one of the difficult trekking peak. Its northern summit, Kwangde Nup (19795 ft), which is climbed from a base camp in the rarely visited Lumding valley, makes a superb trekking peak objective and also provides a simply fantastic vantage point.

The summit panorama extends across the Khumbu, from Ama Dablam and Makalu in the east, to Everest and Cho Oyu and includes the spectacular Rolwaling peaks, to the northwest; Kwangde 6011 meters is located above the famous Sherpa Village of Namche Bazaar and is ripe for those wanting to ascend a seldom-climbed 6000 meters peak.

Combine this with a remote approach with through sun spoilt alpine terrain and you have the essence of this challenging climb.

This difficult mountain forms an impressive multi-summated ridge in running from the summit of Nup (6035m/19799ft). Southeast through the summits of Kwangde Cho (6187m/20298ft) and Kwangde Shar (6093m/19990ft) and then torus sharply south- southern through several lower summits and terminates at Nupla (5885m/19307ft).

All of these summits are included in the peak permit. Kwangde Ri Peak Climbing is suitable for experienced climbers who are looking for rarely climbed and challenging small peaks in the Himalayas will find this peak very attractive.
