This Kanchenjung Base Camp Trek leads one of the most remote areas in Nepal, where we can find the world’s third highest mountain Mt. Kanchenjunga (8598 M). It is situated at the east and on the frontier with India and the old kingdom of Sikkim. This mountain is renowned as a queen of mountains.

Mighty Kanchenjunga trekking is the most famous attraction of Kanchenjunga Mountain. Great valleys, encircled by the high peaks, are another facture of Kanchenjunga. Snowy peaks in Kanchenjunga made a whole Kanchenjunga trek most popular and livelier.

Day 01:We will meet you at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel.

Day 02:After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world, overnight at hotel.

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal. Trekking Permit

  • Permits are issued for one week plus the number of days requested per persons. Currently for this Kanchanjunga Base camp trek one week will cost US$ 10.
  • You do require to pay entry permit fee for Kanchanjunga conservation area. Entry cost about 25 US$ per persons for Kanchanjunga Conservation Area and US$ 10 for TIMS card.
