Dudh Kunda Trek

Dudh Kunda trek is newly established trekking trail takes you to the Solu Khumbu region. Literally, Dudh Kunda means "the Milk Lake". This beautiful trek has been designed to provide insiders look at the high mountains and remote Solu. This sacred lake Dudh Kunda is revered by the local people.

Dudh kunda trek is an exciting route for nature lovers and Adventure hikers. Pike Danda (Hill) is one of the attractive destinations for trekkers. This Pike Hill has over 108 natural water springs encircling the hillock. Pike Hill offers fantastic sunrise and sunset views.  

Dhud Kunda is considered both the Buddhist and Hindus holy lake, by attracting thousands of pilgrims every year. During this Dudh Kunda trek one can explore spectacular mountain views, Sherpas culture, rhododendron and magnolia forest, and Buddhist Monastery.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, Tribhuwan International Airport
We will meet you at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu Valley
After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world, overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive Kathamndu to Bhandar, about 8 hours drive by bus/jeep, overnight at guesthouse/lodges.

Day 04: Trekking Bhandar to Goli (2980m) walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at home stay.

Day 05: Trekking Goli to Ngaur (3350m) walking distance about 5 hours, overnight at home stay.

Day 06: Trekking Ngaur to Pike Peak base camp (3350M) walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at home stay.

Day 07: Trekking Pike Peak base camp to Junbesi (2670M) walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at home stay.

Day 08: Trekking Junbesi to Saharsabeni (3340M) walking distance about 5 hours, overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 09: Trekking Saharsabeni to Dudh Kunda (4190M) walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 10: Trekking Dudh Kunda to Sarkari Pati (2860M)  walking distance about 6 hours, overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 11: Trekking Sarkari Pati to Phaplu (2470m) walking distance about 7 hours, overnight at guesthouse/lodges.

Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu from Phaplu, about 35 minutes flight, overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 13: Final Departure

How to Get Nepal

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. The following are some of the airlines that fly to Nepa: Nepal Airlines, Thai Airways, Gulf Air, Qatar Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air India, Austrian Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Lufthansa, Air Arabia, Air China, Air Arabia, Oman Air, Druk Air, GMG Airlines, Korean Air, Pakistan International Airlines, and Singapore Airlines fly into Kathmandu. Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal. You have any pre existing medical condition or disability you might increase the risk of your requiring medical attention you need to inform to Dream Heaven Adventure. You should be aware of the risk of altitude sickness and frostbite, and allow yourself time to adjust to changes in altitude and temperature. This may hamper your ability to travel.
