Best time for trekking
– Trekking can be done at any time of the year but this depends on the places that are visited.
– However, the most popular times for trekking are the autumn and spring.
– Autumn includes the period between September and November; winter is between December and February, spring between March and May, and summer between June and August.
– Single entry is not allowed (minimum 2 persons require) to visit some area that are restricted, they must have a special trekking permit.
– Special permit is usually not required in the normal areas like Everest Region trek, Langtang Region trek, Annapurna region trek, but should have entry ticket/permit for Conservation Area and National peak. And also should have to take TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) by trekkers.
– Some of the places which are restricted for trekkers include Mustang, Dolpa, Northern Tilche Village, Mugu District and Gorkha District among others.
