Actually, Everest Base Camp Trek is the grandest walk in the land of Himalayas. Four out of the world’s six tallest peaks Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Makalu and Cho oyu let the snow twinkle over there. Trekking through the Everest region offer not only panoramic mountain views but also offers an opportunity to take a glimpse into the life of world famous climbers, opportunity to survey around the Sagarmatha National Park.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp has extensively developed for trekking with well maintained trails and plenty of guest houses. Solukhumbu is Homeland for Sherpa people who gain the good reputation for their skills for trekking and climbing to the mountains. If you are curious to know the starting point and featuring of this then to start the trek, we will fly to Lukla, a tiny airstrip from Kathmandu, from here the trails goes through Phakding and follow the Dudh koshi valley with the climbing up to Namche Bazaar, a busting town of Sherpa people. All day, we pass villages interspersed with magnificent forest as we discussed earlier.
The trail heads to Tengboche from Namche, the trail rises through meadow where yak grazes. After we reach the sandy plain of Gorak Shep, then we climb up almost large boulders to the board summit of Kalapathar. Close and personal view of ice fall of breathtaking mountains from Kalapathar is unforgettable one and it can never be defined with words.
