Arun Valley Trek

Arun Valley is a place with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Arun Valley Trekking is one of the unexplored trekking region in Nepal and it is renewed among the trekkers, where one cannot only see the lovely scenes of Himalayas lying heartily but also experience the incredibly diverse nature, gorgeous highest mountain of the earth and the different ethnic people especially Sherpa, Rai, Limbu, who have been inhabiting in the area for many years.

Walking through this picturesque Sherpa village are the attractions of the Arun valley region. Trekking in this Arun valley provide an alternative approach to the Khumbu trekking regions. Walking north up the Arun River to Sedua and Num then crossing Barun La 4110m into the upper Barun Khola valley for a close look at Makalu. Arun valley trek requires stamina and fitness to fully appreciate the beauty of the region which provides some outstanding mountain views. The highest point of this trek is salpa Bhanjyang.

How to Get Nepal

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. The following are some of the airlines that fly to Nepal, but from Europe or North America all involve at least one change: Nepal Airlines, Thai Airways, Gulf Air, Qatar Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air India, Austrian Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Lufthansa, Air Arabia, Air China, Air Arabia, Druk Air, GMG Airlines, Korean Air, Pakistan International Airlines, and Singapore Airlines fly into Kathmandu. It is also possible to travel overland from India or China. You can check with your local travel agent for competitive airfares or please contact us.

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal.
