Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Annapurna Sanctuary is popular trekking route in Annapurna region also known as Annapurna Base Camp trek as a true classic, among some of the highest and most magnificent mountain panorama. It is one of the most beautiful treks that combine easy walking through the diverse ethnic groups culture and verity vegetation forest, where wildlife are playing in the beautiful forest beneath lap of the majestic Himalayan range.

One can explore the way upstream along the Modi Khola into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a valley surrounded by towering Himalayan Peaks including the breathtaking Fishtail Peak-Machhapuchhre (6993m) and can experience the opportunity of watching sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Ranges from Poonhill as the best of the trip. The Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking is delighted for the trekkers who are in the good health with normal physical fitness.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, Tribhuwan International Airport
We will meet you at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu Valley

After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world, overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Flight or drive to Pokhara 5-6 hours

Today we leave to Pokhara, which takes about 30 minutes by flight and 6-7 hours by bus. Today you'll be free in Pokhara you'll visit yourself. Pokhara is gorgeous lake town that offers broad views of Mt. Machapuchre, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu.

Day 04: Drive to NayaPul and trekking to Tirkhe Dhunga (1577m) 5-6 hours

After having breakfast, we drive to Nayapul, the trekking start line that takes 1.5 hours drive from Pokhara. From Nayapul our path continues through native villages following the bank of Modi khola then we tend to climb steady up to achieve Tikhedhunga (1570mtr).

Day 05: Trekking to Ghorepani (2850m) 4-5 hours

Early morning once having breakfast, we start our trip to Ulleri. Then the path continues to Ghorepani through the pine forest, oak and rhododendrons forest.

Day 06: Hiking to Poonhill (3180m), and trekking to Tadapani (2500m) 5-6 hours
Wake up early morning and we begin our hike up to Poon hill (3210mtr). This Vantage Poon hill offers splendid Sunrise views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna (8091m), Machapuchre (6997m), Manaslu (8163m), and alternative many peaks. This sunrise view is unforgettable expertise in your time period. After defrayal 1hour at Poon hill we tend to come back to Ghorepani. Once taking breakfast we tend to leave for Tadapani through pine and shrub forest.

Day 07: Trekking to Chhomrong (2020m) 5-6 hours
Today the trail descends all the way down to Chhomorong through forest and Gurung Villages that takes close to 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Trekking to Dovan (2580m) 4-5 hours
Today the trail continues by crossing Khuldighar situated at 2328 meter. From here we tend to step down through the gorge of watercourse to achieve Dovan. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09: Trekking to Deurali (3230m) 5-6 hours
Today the trail ascends following the path higher than the stream through a thick bamboo, oak and bush forests up the aspect of the ravine. Then we climb once more to the Hinko Cave, wherever from the path crosses a valley and major avalanche track simply any until Deurali (3,000m).

Day 10: Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp (4170m) via Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3820m) 4-5 hours
Today Trail continues ascending to Machhapuchre Base Camp at located 3700m and passing some roofless shepherds huts to reach Annapurna Base Camp that situated at analysis of 4130 meter. Annapurna Base Camp offers very good views of Annapurna (7993m), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machapuchre (6997m) and alternative many peaks.

Day 11: Trekking to Bamboo (2310m) 5-6 hours

After taking breakfast the path descends to the bamboo following the bank of lovely Modi khola (river), which takes close to 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12: Trekking to Jhinu Dada (1760m) 5-6 hours
After having breakfast in Bamboo, the path continuous through the shrub and bamboo forest to achieve Jhinu hot spring.  Jhinu hot spring offers natural spring and exquisite Modi khola depression.

Day 13: Trekking to Pothana (1600m) 3-4 hours
Today the path ascends gently crossing various streams and terraces to reach Landruk village, a fairly massive village peopled by mixed community of Gurung, Magar and Brahmin moreover. From Landruk, we goes steeply up to Deorali. Then the path bit by bit descends to Pothana through totally different oak forests.

Day 14: Trekking to Pokhara
Today we have descend down to Dhampus, a village in the main populated by Gurung. Then the path goes through flat land for a couple of distances and steeply descends to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 15: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu
Today we leave Pokhara to Katmandu, which takes half-hour by flight and 6-7 hours by bus. Overnight at Katmandu hotel.

Day 16: Transfer to Tribhuwan international airport for your final departure.

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal.
