Annapurna Royal Trek

Annapurna Royal trek is one of the best treks in Annapurna region, for those who want to experience village life and striking mountain views in relatively short of time. The trekking trail goes through different ethnic group’s villages and farmland north of the Pokhara valley.

The royal trekking have got name after prince Charles of Britain with his go associates had visit this route in the early eighties. The trail leads you through the villages set among the cultivated fields and meeting the people is quite unforgettable experience.

The Annapurna Royal Trekking offers a view of wonderful Pokhara valley, tranquil lakes, panoramic Annapurna range, inclusive Manaslu Himal, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Langtang, and relaxing with beautiful hamlets in the stunning views of the eloquently built hillside rice terraces and different mixed culture such as Magar, Gurung, Bramhin, Chhetries, etc.

While along the peaceful ranges with hill all around colorful fauna painting the landscape, eagles soaring which above towering all around. The trip finally ends at the scenic Begnas Lake which is about 30 Km west of Pokhara city.

This entire Skyline trek is easy which occasional up and downhill hikes along the ridges and valleys without having to worry about altitude and acclimatization as the maximum ascent on this trek is Chisapani at 1260m. Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, Tribhuwan International Airport
We will meet you at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your trekking, overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu Valley
After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world, overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Flight or drive to Pokhara
Today we leave to Pokhara, which takes 30 minutes by flight and 6-7 hours by bus. Today you will be free in Pokhara you can visit yourself. Pokhara is beautiful lake city which offers panoramic views of Mt. Machapuchre, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu.

Day 04: Trekking to Kalikasthan (1243m)
After breakfast Pokhara drive to Bijayapur River, the trekking starting point. From here we walk through the rice fields and river. After crossing the river our trail ascend to reach Kalikasthan.

Day 05: Trekking to Shaklung (1730m)
Early morning after having breakfast, our trail follows the forest ridge thronging Thulokot and Mathi Thana, to reach Naudanda. From here we step up and down then we arrive to Shaklung.

Day 06: Trekking to Chisopani (1260m)
After having breakfast, the trail descend downhill thronging large tree, several teashops then we climbs up to reach Chisopani (1260m). Chisapani offers magnificent views of the Mountain.

Day 07: Trekking to Pokhara
Today is last day of our royal trekking. After breakfast we continue our trail through the rice fields. Pokhara city offers to boating and in photo shoots in beautiful Fewa Lake. Pokhara is beautiful lake city also offers panoramic views of Mt. Machapuchre, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu.

Day 08: Fly or Drive back to Kathmandu
Today we leave Pokhara to Kathmandu, which takes 30 minutes by flight and 6-7 hours by bus. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel

Day 09: Final Departure.
Dream Heaven Adventure Team say good bye and take you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

How to Get Nepal

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 25 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 40 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 100 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal. You have any pre-existing medical condition or disability you might increase the risk of your requiring medical attention you need to inform to Dream Heaven Adventure. You should be aware of the risk of altitude sickness and frostbite, and allow yourself time to adjust to changes in altitude and temperature. This may hamper your ability to travel.
